Meet the Founder
For Priyanka Galav, founder of House of Yanka, art and design are deeply intertwined with her Indian heritage. India’s rich textiles, intricate patterns and architectural grandeur shape her appreciation for interiors that feel personal, collected and enduring.
With roots in India and a life in the United States, Priyanka envisioned House of Yanka as a way to bring that heritage into American homes. Her sensibility celebrates the richness of natural fibers, subtle color and texture, and the presence of a beautifully proportioned rug.
Her background in law brings a considered approach to the business, while her affinity for design guides its creative direction. Working closely with interior designers and production partners in India, she helps translate individual visions into custom pieces, with a particular focus on oversized wool and silk rugs.
